How We Handle Your Data
Every tool on this site — JSON formatting, image compression, Base64 conversion, QR generation, device detection — runs locally, inside your own browser. Whatever you paste or drop into a tool stays on your device. It isn't uploaded, logged, stored, or seen by anyone on our end, including us. You can confirm this yourself by opening your browser's network inspector while using any tool and watching that no request goes out carrying your actual input — you'll see the page load its assets, and then nothing else happen when you paste or drop a file in.
This isn't a promise we're making on top of a system that could technically do otherwise. There's no server-side upload endpoint for these tools to send data to in the first place. The architecture makes collection impossible, not just unlikely.

DevNestTools operates primarily as a client-side application. Most data processing happens directly in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers.

Our tools are designed to process data entirely within your browser environment for maximum privacy and security.
Third-Party Services
A couple of tools genuinely cant work without sending a request from your browser. The IP lookup tool, for example, needs to ask an external service where an IP address is located — that information doesnt exist on your device. The request goes straight from your browser to that service. We never see or log it. That external services privacy policy covers what happens once the request reaches them.
